Re: Small laser printer that doesnt curl paper?
in the professional printing word, large printers only buy paper rated at certain, measured moisture content, so they can optimize their printing runs for maximum speed/ quality. they will return truck loads of paper that is not within their specified moisture specs.

Re: SilverStone Raven RVZ02 Slim Tower
nice review mr lee! this case is on my short list (along with the one below). I'd be grateful for any thoughts or suggestions. this one looks like it has gpu and cpu on top, and psu on bottom, so it might be better suited to horizontal. http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/origin-gaming-ces-2016/

Re: Troublesome mini-ITX
So of that 5.8C difference I guess that 1C might be from the PSU and the other 4.8C might be from the air already pulled through the case? when i took the reading the PSU was sitting on my desk, outside of the case. it was pulling in only ambient room temp air. -measuring PSU heat only. @ OP, how m...

Re: Troublesome mini-ITX
I will admit, I have not. but with a lowly gtx750 and i3 running on a 500 watt sfx-l silverstone, the PSU (removed from case) is dumping out 28.5c in a 22.7 room.edh wrote:Have you calculated the thermal rise through a PSU before?

under load you are using mostly hot air from the psu to cool the CPU.
simple fix would be to reverse fan direction.

Re: Anyone tryed 2 psu setup with add2psu?
I doubt any 250 watt passive PSU would have enough actual 12v amperage to run any oc's gtx 9xxti (unicorns!).
Why do so many people want a fanless PSU, only to have it run a difficult too cool CPU and screaming GPU??!?!

if the rads are big, that's kinda one of my main points. ( id consider your rad, 'cadillac' sized when comparing to AIO)
still, 500+ watts with no pump and no fans, we'd all love to see it!

my recommendation is skip both and go into a server case like Norco 4220/4224, and and place it where you cant hear it, over the long run is cheaper and easier to manage. +1 finding a unicorn, taking a magic carpet ride to the cub's world series parade, might be a more realistic goal, than a silent...
