PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks to a couple of nice chaps over on overclock.com. Turns out that I some time ago had set up my boot.ini to boot using 2 cores and forgotten about it. Check in the motherboard's BIOS if you can find something with a "multiprocessing" in it. When it's disabled, only the first of the two CPUs inside a Q9xx0 is seen. :wink: Any idea where in the bios I should look?
