What worked for me was to buy a 12V 8-pin extender (about 1 ft long) for about 10 bucks. Then I ran the cable out the back and behind the motherboard tray, up to the top and plugged it into the socket at the top left side of the motherboard.

go with the Ninja, and get a thermalright bolt-through mounting kit. Works like a charm for me. Was a pain to install though, took me about 30 minutes. But my temps dropped 8-10 degrees when I put replaced the push pins with a backplate+screws, and the kit only cost me 6 bucks.
