Does anyone know when the Zalman VF700 will be available in the USA? And if its already available here where can I get it? I've had enough of the artic cooler Rev 4 for my x800 xt.....the clicking noise is driving me nuts.....

How the heck are you guys hooking up the power connector from the VGA silencer to the fanmate or the motherboard???? I have tried both and the fan on the VGA silencer wouldn't even power up anymore......I have an Abit IC7-G BTW....and a Ati x800 Xt.....I took the little connector from the vga silenc...

yes it sure does make a clicking sound I have the HIS ICE Q2 X800 XT and it does the exact same thing.....I then RMA's it and the 2nd one did the same thing....then I got a artic cooler from newegg the new ones that fit the X800 series and it too did the same thing.....when I turned the fan off it w...

Its normal which sucks....I have the exact same X800 XT as you the ICE Q2 and it makes a nice clicking or buzzing noise as well I RMA'ed it and the other one I got does the exact same thing....I then bought one of the new artic cooling Rev 5's from newegg and put it on and it too does the exact same...

BTW their was no way the zalman was going to fit on the MB with the zalman northbridge cooler. I would have had to cut like 80% of the fins off it to shorten the height of it....

I've tried all the temp monitoring software out their and they all report about 48-50C idle and about 65-70C load the bios also reports this.

Well I went ahead and ordered the Samsumg 120 GIG 7200 RPM 8 mb cache hard drive from Newegg for $97....I just hope its quieter and faster than my old WD 7200 rpm 8 mb cache hard drive........Because my PC is almost dead silent now....the only thing I hear is my WD hard drive....

I have a WD 80 GIG Se 7200 rpm 8 mb cache hard drive. I am wondering if getting a samsung SP1213N would be a quieter hard drive and if so alot quieter or just a bit?

I put the same zalman heatsink on my Abit IC-G MB using the epoxy. No problems what so ever. Worked like a charm, my temps are still where they used to be, they didn't go up or down and the noise is gone. Took about 5 minutes to change the NB fan they about an hour for the epoxy to dry.
