While the Celeron 430 will use less power it does not support speed stepping and will not throttle down under load. With that in mind, I think the e5x00 would be a better choice. I had a similar problem when I mounted a slim drive in a K45. The right front screw was too long and touched the track. I ended up replacing it with a short screw from a dead laptop sitting in the closet.

I am using the same case along with a Mini Ninja to passively cool an 4850e. It works great and is quite quiet. With the case fans on the lowest speed I cannot hear them when standing at the TV.
