In fact, insofar as the 80-Plus program stimulates the sale of new power supplies as replacements for older, working power supplies, it is responsible for a certain amount of environmental damage itself. really interesting and ironic statement. remind me of what was said about "perceived obsolescen...

WD green power drive got a very good review on spcr, i think your reason for not wanting to buy from them is silly. they can say the drive will grow wings and fly for all i care, hopefully we all know what a hard drive is supposed to do and as long as it passes spcr reviewers scrutiny then it is a d...

This choice is whence very dependent on what your personal beliefs/wishes are. Nobody can know what you will be happy with and I think we can help you a lot more if you specify the rest of your rig. What hard drive(s), fan(s), PSU, graphics card and case will you use. They will determine your syste...

thanks for your advice. what do you mean by the 'high-end' core 2s? i remember the E6600 seemed to be the one that everyone wanted and they were going like hotcakes, but scorptec don't seem to even have them for sale i wonder why

will either of these be easier to cool than the other?

duo vs quad

what is a better purchase? -Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 (3.0Ghz/Conroe/4MB/1333FSB/EMT64/XD/Dual Core) -Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.40Ghz/Kentsfield/4MBx2/1066FSB/EMT64/XD/Quad Core) they are the same price.. (349 AUD here ) when running some single threaded app, will the duo generally be (significantly) ...

Re: G35 let down

But it's PCI-E x16 slot is apparently only x4, & not x16 optimized! It’s worth knowing that but I imagine that most people that buy a motherboard with DVI and HDMI aren’t concerned about this limitation. it could be some concern.. i want to play games occasionally but most of the time the onboa...

I like my integrated graphics on my motherboards, don't ask me why, I just do! So with great anticipation, I'm looking froward to the new G35 chipset models. (by the way does anybody know when there due out?) But little things niggle me, like! why the hell do they still use D-Sub instead of DVI? DV...
