Someone above mentioned the Seasonic one.

Silverstone makes one that they put in their cases, but I don't know if it is available at retail.

Such a shame. I bought a NF-M2 nView a few years ago, and more recently a couple of AN-M2HDs. All three have been really solid boards. The NF-M2 and one of the AN-M2HDs have been running 24x7 since purchase. The only motherboard that I've had with a capacitor problem was an AOpen socket 370 board. ...

Do you mean workmanship or design? I didn't notice anything in that review that criticized the workmanship, but their where plenty of niggley design issues.

I don't know if X-spice is an actual manufacturer, or someone else makes them. They are China based is all I know. If they do actually manufacture, they add another potentially good manufacturer into the mix.

Actually, this could be an interesting PSU. Is X-Spice the actual manufacturer, or is there a further OEM? I just mentioned the Seasonic, because that is a reputable PSU manufacturer, and there are some extra features. By all reports, the fan in the Nexus (used on the X-Spice PSU's as well) is extre...

Maybe that is just a hot running CPU?

If you want cooler, your motherboard supports a bunch of possibly cooler chips:

Channel Well versus Seasonic as OEM's.

I think [H]ard OCP did that with the VX550 vs. the HX520. The VX won performance and price, but HX was quieter and modular.

NCIX has the Nexus Value 430 in stock if anyone in Canada is interested. It's selling for 109$. Hopefully it will have some discounts soon and perharps other retailers will have it to give NCIX some competition. http://ncix.com/products/?sku=37345 IMHO a tough sell with the Seasonic M12 II 430W at ...

Essentially only the eye-wateringly expensive i7 models have an unlocked multiplier... so raising the speed of the 'bclk' on cheaper models is the only way to overclock. Running memory at 1600 is done in this way. It will definitely take more cooling than running at stock but the good news is the X...

Just an interesting point that I wasn't aware of when I purchased my 920 and DDR-1600 is that you have to overclock the CPU to get the memory working at 1333. By default, the memory works at 1066 for the 920. It was an easy overclock to do, but, if you do not want to deal with overclocking, you can ...

I would need to be able to connect it internally since I will be using a CPU fan too. I would probably be either using the 3pin->2 pin or perhaps just cut the wires and solder them to the new fan (I was planning on using the 80mm Noctua fan actually), and yeah I know their fan wasnt terribly good i...

I have an older Zippy buit silencer and it is a regular 80mm fan. Don't worry about the connector, just run the fan leads out the back with the rest of the cables and plug into the motherboard or whatever you want. If you want to connect inside, I think it is still a two-pin connector, so either mak...

There are so many PSU's OEM'd by Seasonic you might be able to find one you like that is Seasonic built, but retailed under another brand name. Check the PSU reviews at [H]ardOCP. They will give you the OEM as well as some other acceptable OEM's.
