Re: Sandy Bridge Mini-ITX HTPC Build - Power + Silence Hopef
Thanks for sharing. I've been looking that particular case as I am really thinking to build AMD Fusion surfmachine using that particular case. Very nice job with the HIS' heatsink and nice build. Thank you for sharing with us . I know myself that case looks even better now for my Fusion ^^

Small fun computer (for web surfing and nothing major)
Hello everyone! I saw interesting mAtx motherboard on native computer magazine labeled comming soon: Asus M35m1-m pro that has integrated graphics andAMD E-350 dual core @ 1,6 Ghz) If I am right, this is AMD fusion: codename: AMD Brazos. Asrock has also: ASRock E350M1 which is on my short list for B...

Re: Xigmatec "Gaia" SD1283
I've looked the Gaia, its reviews and were seriously thinking to buy it. Its very nice and allows dual fan set-up. Retail price is here 29€'s vs. 57€ Xigmatek's Netarpark or Balder or 55€'s of Xigmatek Thors Hammer. The mounting system looks very nice indeed, Xigmatek has improved that. I got HDT-S1...

Intel 6-series chips are damaged goods, now what?
I was set to upgrade my E8400+P45 board into E2500K sandy bridge and P67 board as its clear that games I now play would like some more CPU power and prefirabely also more cores. Unreal engine seems to love more cores and some strategy games love to use one core for AI so my dual core isn't quite... ...

Two years has past roughly and I've done some minor changes on Wolflair and bit more on Regor Here's pictures the changes on Wolflair. I'll update this later with pictures of Regor when I get the pictures done. Not much, basic hardware is still the same except VGA card. I added more padding on roof....

Those are pretty good. Arctic Cooling's Freezer pro series is worth olooking, especially since its around that price range (depending on your region though)

One sweet mdofication! I really envy you as you have work space where you can make such things true. I have first generation 300 without hole cut for motherboard tray for back plate installation. Now I like how you have done work paying attention all the little steps and details... only thing bother...

Re: EVGA GTX 460 Fan/Voltage Bios Mod for a quieter GPU
Thanks for this. I should try this when I can. 30% fan is pretty good in my Evga 460 SC but it always can be quieter. However I need to first figure out how to kill buzzing cards buzzing without killing the card. I got electric varnish that ends squealing when applied but if I apply it wrong place, ...

Re: ATI X1600 Pro (fan or just heatsink?)
Yeah, Arctic cooling S1 is the answer. If you don't have space, you need to get passive heatsink that can be snadwitched. Thermalright HR-03 back at the day I had to use Thermalright 6-hole adapter but it worked wonderfully cooling silently my X1600 pro. Another option is Zalman VNF-100 which yours ...

Re: Back in action
Thanks everyone! CA_Steve, you're correct that 10% is easy performance pump and I should get easily 3,5 Ghz. I haven't overcloked in while (not since I got my Wolfy 3 years ago), so I just rise FSB to 333 -> 370. I should aim for 3,3 Ghz -> 3,5 Ghz. My HDTS-1283 Red Scorpion with Akasa Apache PWM fa...

I heard 1 GB 256-bit version of eVga with rear exhaust was louder. Alright my old 1680x1050 did not need upgrade from pimped HD 4850...

You assume I side with the people on the boats? I don't take sides really, I just observe mostly. I'm sure some people on those boats wanted this. And I agree to some extent. It takes a few human lives to draw attention to crimes that largely are ignored or distorted in the main stream press. I don...

Mounting it directly to 120mm fans did things. Your...
