Re: Replacement fan for Seasonic Super Tornado?
looks like the fan is connected with a normal 3 pin header, was pretty handy when the spcr review was the first hit on google. http://www.silentpcreview.com/files/images/tornado/tornado5.jpg a 120mm fan that ive seen other people use ( spcr thread here ), is the Scythe S-Flex SFF21F which is 1600rpm...

... in my opinion, the only reliable brands are Samsung and Hitachi. yeh yeh! 100% agreed based on my experiences. The only downside of the Samsung is that it vibrates a lot (at least mine). So some kind of soft suspension is a must with the Samsung. awww what? mines in the mail at the moment so i ...

Re: On/off switch for internal drive?
what might work is having capped military switches; when they're in the up position have the drive be powered off though, that way the cap would somewhat prevent them from being turned off when they're in use. performance pcs has a nice selection of military switches(among other styles), and even of...

sorry, assumed that you simply typo'd.
mini-dtx doesnt really get much love, i doubt there will be any new boards available for those sockets either.... can i ask why you need the two expansion slots? just curious.

Re: P-183 discontinued... replacement P-183 V3?
I don't want to hear any claims that the Mini P180 was dropped from NewEgg due to low sales. nobody has made that claim. antec's official position is that the case is not discontinued. this could still mean that they aren't taking any new orders for the case and that it's closing in on the end of i...

if you went with a pc-q07 you could potentially mod into the top panel a silverstone 180mm fan grill, which should let most any hot air evacuate with ease.

have you taken a look at the NZXT Whisper? its got nine 3.5" bays, six 5.25" bays, a 3.5" external bay... noise dampening foam... you might have to replace fans for silence, and the door might not be the best looking... but its got a lot working for it. can be had for cheap on amazon, and even on ne...

the card sholud be cooler in the ft02, so you should be able to run your fans slower... plus a big cooler like the mugen will probably like the airflow in the ft02 as well though it looks like you haven't picked a card yet... could i recommend the MSI N460GTX Twin Frozr II SOC? efficient and quiet c...

neither. that left panel on the p193 is hideous, and having a 30~mm fan mounted on the side panel really cuts into heatsink compatibility, even the p183 fits your needs better in that regard. since youre only using an atx motherboard, but still looking for plenty of space for your hardware... i'd ta...

hmmm.... grab a noctua cooler and toss a 120mm fan on the back of the case. nh-u12p se2 should be great. most cost efficient? maybe with a mugen or a hyper 212+ you could remove the rear fan grill from the case and run single fan on the heatsink on the pull side...
