Yes there's a few threads here on fitting Panflo L1A's and the likes. Would probably have tried it, but I already had the Fortron lying around. Keep in mind that the Antec fan is 24mm thick and is a tight squeze against the pcb in the PSU. Fitting a "normal" 25mm fan requires a bit of modification ...

Cant the BQE PSU be modded with a quieter fan?

Im thinking of purchasing a BQE for my next project and dont really want to fork out for another PSU
