I always uninstall the current version before installing the new. All my bookmarks / extensions / etc. are retained. (Unless an extension does not work for a new version, then it says so in the Extension window.) I do get crashes in Firefox occasionally (not really any more / less after the update)....

AFAIK, the 130nm and 90nm Sempron 3100s both have a default 1.4v, both are rated at 62W, and both run at 1.8 GHz, but only the 130nm is known to support CnQ. Is the power consumption difference between these two going to be as big as with Newcastle vs. Winchester?

The articles I've seen said the graphics are similar to X300 SE. I don't know how this directly compares to a 9600, but ...

I read that neoseeker article on the X800 today. It's selling for $265 US at ZZF. Which is less than Gigabyte's passive 6800 is going for. Supposedly ATI's MSRP for the X800 is $200 US, though none of them are selling for that yet.

New wireless optical mouse buzzes, ticks, whirrs, whines

I received my Benq X805 wireless keyboard & mouse combo today. Used it for a few hours. Keyboard seems fine. Mouse seems to function okay, but it makes all sorts of noises. Buzzing, ticking (with flashing optical light), high-low siren-like whine (with optical light flashing about the same rhythm).....

Directron has a couple, though they'd need the end hacked off. Unless they include the low-profile bracket as shown in Fabre's post. 9550 SE 128 and 9250 256.

Newegg has some FX5200s with similar design.
