They are both quiet and powerful.
They are quite expensive :P Also i like the look of a huge cooler on a small board :P Scythe has both (nice price and hugeness :D).

Hmm 45 dollars isnt quite a lot of money. But it still is dealextreme (good for cables/adapters/cheap stuff). I prefer to have a goot brand for my cooling.

Re: The inside an Antec Tri-cool Fan 3 speed switch

Firstly, Hello all, first post here. Secondly, ive been researching fan controllers and rheobus's, and have made a few myself in the past week with 5amp and 7amp current limits but they still all seem to heat up a fair bit even though the voltage regs are heatsinked, and im afraid of putting them i...

i think that the mugen2 cools better than the ninja, but it's a pain to install. I installed the mugen before (on a friends pc). I found it good to do. You just need some books to support the motherboard when you want to install the cooler. The Mugen is the better cooler, but as the rpms go down th...

What's better; ninja or mugen on a Q6600[?]

Well, i have a cpu to cool on a silent way.

Its a Q6600 (105w TDP) in a P180 Mini but i was wondering what cooler gives me the best temps on a low rpm (800 and less). Both wont cool the cpu passive i guess.

Whats the best cooler for this cpu?

DVI and HDMI are digital signals (the monitor converts those signals to a picture). VGA is a analog signal (videocard converts digital signal to pictures). That way your image is way crisypier.

I'm way to anal retentive... Your front fan is installed with the sticker upside down. You're gonna put a window on this with a stock heatsink to show off... ;) Oh - and there's not enough blue LED's and da-glo water tubes for a lan party rig! Actually it looks really nicely done. Hmm i built a thermaltake watercooled cpu system for a friend. And it sucks... bigtime. Pump is not strong enough for a good block (heatkiller).

One recommendation. Get some good stuff :) TT wil work (but for how long, friends system had problems 3 months after purchase).

Wouldnt try it. Just get another card which has no stacked connectors. asus CuCore, PowerColor has one. MSI Hawk is also good for aftermarket coolers.

Scythe Setsugen? It will fit, but you need to have a card which doesnt have stacked backpanel connectors. Thats the man reason why so much coolers dont fit. This is the first I've heard of this concept. What are "stacked backpanel connectors"? See this picture: http://forum.i3d.net/attachments/hard...

I think you can. your CPU has a tdp of 95w. get a Scythe Ninja (not the mini ninja) mount it and you'll probably can cool your cpu passive. But i think the silenter option may be replace your back 120mm fan with a 3pin fan and run your top fan on 7v (at high) many say the top fan is more silent that...

I'd go for a HD5770 with the backpanel connectors next to eachother (not on top of eachother). With a setsugen (with fanflip) on low. Fan is inaudible and the VRM's get cooled.

About the 5770. Get one which has the backpanel connectors sideways. Not on top of eachother. That way you can always upgrade to another cooler. The Asus 5770 CuCore has this so more aftermarket coolers will fit on that card. About that thermal paste. Get that MX2. That paste also comes in quite han...

Hmm, for me its the challenge to have quiet build that performs. So power usage is not my main point.

They go hand in hand but i mainly want performing components.
