For the rear fan you might want to try suspending it so that it's isolated from the case. It's easy to do in the Antec Solo as you have that PSU support bar to hang them from. Has anyone tried using RMClock to see if it recognises throttling with a Wolfdale? The official RMClock 2.30.1 doesn't work with my E8500 processor. It can't identify the CPU and doesn't display any voltages or core temperatures. The more recent RMClock 2.35 (beta 3) appears to work with it though....

Measured with an infra red thermometer the temperatures for his E8400 CPU were 10-15c lower than what is reported by Coretemp.

What's your room temperature at the moment?

Have you removed the PCI blanking plates beneath the card?
