Yeah it is hard to find the Z model. Whatever do you do, don't get the X. Waterblocks cause a lot of restriction, you want pressure. Sure a pump may have a 300gph lable on it, but that's with zero restiction. Pumps from Best to Good: IWAKI MD-20RZT > MD20RLT > MCP600 > Mag3 To be honest, the MCP600 ...

I used to like the Evercool ALum's but I found Delta WFB1212M to be a bit quieter even under 12v load. Currently, I am running at about 7v. Ambient 25°C, Cpu and Case 32°C Delta mentioned at SPCR? I'm definitly going to have to learn up on this fan. What voltage were you running your Everco...

I knew someone a while back who used the freezer system inside his small fridge that had a freezer bit, basically he was going for max temps and max overclock and he ran a mix of 1/2 water and 1/2 antifreeze, it was also in a 24/7 rig. He was able to run his cpu at 0 deg C (with lots of insulation)...

Due to some of the posts in <this> thread, I have found blowers are much more suitable for pressure/high restriction use and also emit a much more pleasant noise compared to it’s axial counterparts. Though I would have liked to have found out how the Nexus fan would perform for this task, this desir...

Any Experience with Sunon's Magnetic Levitation Fans?

Sunon is more OEM like Nidec. I first became acquainted with the company when I popped open an otherwise bad PSU to use the fan many years back. I found out about these fans particular MagLev fans through one of the IT-Procurement companies that send us tons of catalogues and we hardly buy from, cyb...

Thanks! I'll probably go for a Nexus 92mm now.

Yeah, here it is. I way just wondering if anyone here had any personal experience with blowers. Apparently blowers have a lot more pressure than axial fans and that's exactly what you want for pulling air through a dense heatercore. It's 12V as standard 'cos it's made for a car. It has 3 speed setti...

How quiet is the air conditioning in your car? A blower cant be quiet at speeds great enough to be your electronic magazine rack. Very true. But I would run it at the minimum 7V instead of the standard 12V. From the same link I listed above: It's 12V as standard 'cos it's made for a car. It has 3 s...

The 80mm option is pretty much out, but if I did go for it, they would be Zalman 80mm in silent mode. with the evercool, it was a bit too loud for my tastes :) Did you try running the Evercool 120mm at lower than 5V though? I've run an Evercool 70mm reliably at 3V before. Take your time to respond. ...
