Re: Sandy Bridge Z68 Support Set
Kind of interesting, although the fact that many of the Gigabyte boards still require a video card is strange. I suppose if they're going to kill off their other motherboard lines and just sell z68 boards then it might make sense, but it's an odd choice for the initial release. It's a shame, one of...

Re: Lucid's Virtu. Optimus but for the desktop as well.
It seems as if Lucid Virtu will be included with many of the upcoming Z68 Sandy Bridge motherboards, at least those from most of the major motherboard manufacturers. Perhaps more interesting is that Nvidia has decided to do a desktop version of their Optimus technology, though they are going to call...

There was a comparison of 1 vs 2 Nexus fans in the Scythe Mugen 2 review, more specifically on page 6.

Amazon sells both B5 and K5 of the 300GB and 600GB drives, the smaller drives are only available as B5. The difference between the 300GB/600GB B5 and K5, as listed in the product details at Amazon, is that the former has more accessories included in the box; Also includes a notebook install kit: USB...

There are random write results for the Intel 510 250GB but not the 510 120GB. I have to assume based on the test results that the 510 120GB random write would be slower than the samsung 470 128GB random write which is slower than the random write on the 120GB x-25M which is slower than the random w...
