Besides there's no turning back when you enter the world of wireless communication... I don't think there is a great market for wireless trackballs. ;) I'm still using the old Microsoft Intelliball. Nice soft clicks and scroll, best pointing device I ever used. I think they were concentrating more ...

If this comes in black it will probably be my next case. Noe please make a black version  Yes, please black without a psu! This case is just too ugly. Right on bro, that white P150 is fugly. Give me a nice mauve, or perhaps an orange version and I'd definitely buy one! No, you're wrong. Pu...

Not doing much progress.. It seems like i cant get good contact between the HS and the cpu, i´ve redone it three times now with AS5 and the heatsink barely gets warm, and mobo reports cpu temp at 75c before it crashes. thats with the ducted 92mm nexus at 12V... I placed a thermal probe right next t...

Re: Do fanless heat sinks pose fire harzard threat to compon
...however, would the mother board or nearby components absorb most of the heat produce by the heat sink thus those parts might self combusted into an inferno. What have you been reading? :? Nearby components do not absorb the heat from the heatsink. In fact, they don't absorb heat from anywhere, s...

Is this a limitation on Jason's end when generating the GIFs? Or a limitation of the GIF format? It must be a limitation on Jason's end. For example he might be remapping to a generic palette (e.g. web-safe colours) or the remapping algorithm is especially poor, but the GIF format is capable of it....

Re: New metallic TIM from TherMax Korea: HiFlux TIM HF-60110
In order to get the TherMax to flow, you have to run the CPU up to 65ºC. Once this is done, the material is set and you achieve consistent results at all temperatures I believe 65° is the maximum operating temperature for 64s. Mine shuts down by then (system hangs). The only processor I would ever ...

I would like to try the Dvorak system, but at the moment I am doing field engineering so use 10 or more different keyboards a day. Is this going to cause me problems? The article suggested it would. Unfortunately it would, unless you can get Dvorak installed and selectable on the other computers, e...

Those scripts are fancontrol and pwmconfig . The former monitors temperatures and adjusts fan speeds automatically, the second configures the fancontrol script. I cannot vouch for how well they run because I use a fixed speed, but pwmconfig needs fans with RPM sensing to work. Ksensors works nicely ...

I guess you need a Welcome to SPCR! I haven't seen one for ages! Time to start a new trend methinks? TBH it sounds like that would be better for cooling the PSU rather than anything else. The PCB usually sits on the lower panel and I don't think heat affects it much with a tower heatsink and rear fa...

I loved that link about how black computers are faster. Even if Antec made a black one (it'll be the same as the options on the Ipod nano), someone will be convinced a red computer would be faster. I mean, why else are most Ferrari's in movies and showroom floors painted red? :P The only red comput...

Zalman cooled 9600 xt at stock speeds will not run BF2 in anything better than 800x600 low/mid settings depending on how you tweak it. I do not own a 9800 pro so I can help you on that one. Sometimes BF2 resets my graphics to all high and 1280x960, it looks real nice for that 2 minutes before it re...
