Bosh i will probably clean the manafacturing debris out the individual components first. Then i will attach them togethr and flush 10 liters of water through the sytem and into my bathtub. I think that will take care of any blue dust. I think im going to use 2 meters of ClearFlex60. It's sold as pvc...

Assesmble the sytem according to the reserator and vga cooler instructions. 3. Fill the reserator up with 3 liters of Distilled Water and use some alg...

and on 5V the fan's amperage goes up. !!! what? running on lower voltage draws more current? fraid not... V=IR if R is fixed, then if V reduces, I must reduce accordingly.. griff IF the fan was desinged to run on 12v it will push very little air and use very little current @ 5V, if it is a usb fan ...

Need a quiet graphics card with Dual DVI
I need a quiet graphics card with Dual DVI, but im having trouble finding one.
I'm looking to buy one with a great price/performance ratio, like the radeon 9800 pro series which just droped to $220s. I guess i can quite a card if need be but i need Dual DVI for my two new monitors.

unfortunately i don have the space for something like that. I was more considering a sleek case with the Z style. Very sleek rounded angles two-tone with spaceage headlights, nice grille, aluminum trim and huge pop-out gauges. Bluefront people who drive 2 door sports cars usually take thier monster ...

IMHO the NISSAN 350Z is the hottest looking production car you can buy.
unless you want to spend well >$100,000.

-halcyon I think the support for 1 Kilogram heatsink is quite obvious to me. More heat can be disipated by a larger surface area with increased airflow(larger fans + duct). I bet most watercooling systems weigh more than a Kilogram. After alll, it is more efficient to cut out the extra step and tran...

The problem is that PWM sometimes work good but voltage modulated fan controllers always work good. It's much easier for Reviewes to say the fan is quiet at 5V than is quiet at 500HZ with a duty cycle of 0.434. Voltage modulated fan controllers are much more consistent along a range of speeds. I don...

Listen to Rusty. AMD doesn't control form factors. Even Intel doesn't, even though it thinks it does. Case, motherboard and to some extent form factor members do (not just Intel alone). Why would AMD come up with a "rival" system, when the industry standard, namely ATX, is good enough for them and ...

I think that BTX is inherently flawed beacause it cannot accept boards with onboard memory controllers. It is not unilatteral. I predict it will be a smack in the face to Intel, just like the Rambus flop. ATX in inherently flawed thermally and cant last. OEM's can't mod ATX cases like us at SPCR. Ev...

I think they will keep ATX for they're sempron line. ATX is a litttle antiquated for high heat systems though. I wouldn't count AMD out. Recently they took the memory controller out of the northrbrige, made the split to 64 bit computing, and have been swtiching sockets like square dancers. Their not...

AMD vs. BTX
AMD does not endorse BTX like intel. Also BTX boards have the RAM at a 90 degree angle to the CPU making it harder to design for cpus with an onboard memory controler and several other issues the AMD engineers dont like. Do you think intel will be victorious with BTX? Or will BTX go the way or Rambu...

There is a difference between business quarters and non-business, yearly ones. You're all basing your assumptions that Q3 in Seagate press-release refers to a yearly quarter, not buseness one. However we don't know this for sure, that's why I wanted to know a clear date. Release dates are rarely ac...
