It was the updated version those reviews are tottaly wrong :) I also tested a 5750 from asus that one was alot more quiet then the 5770. I couldnt hear it with case closed above my antec CP-850. Heej, At the moment I have tested some VGA's from the store and non was silent enough for my use. Once Ive tested: asus 5850, Sapphire 5770, asus gtx 275 all standard coolers was to loud. You will indeed need a fan, i can recommend the s-flex 1200RPM im using it myself at 7V its dead silent :)

Well I get like 50° load at the moment using prime95 with small ffts. have a 1200rpm fan on 7v on my prolima megashadow think its a good temp atleast or? I will try using some artic silver and replace the cooler and see if I can get it some lower. My room temp is around 20° btw

Nexus silent 1000rpm fan problem

Hello,

I just bought 2x the basic 1000rpm nexus fan.

Is it normal when these fans are used horizontal that the fan makes a slipping noise?
I never had this before with any other fan.

Local shop over here has the megahalems and for the mugen2 I don't think its out yet 1156 not sure though and still its ugly! :P and yea I was planning on doin some other mods like powdercoat my case black and some window DREMEL!! :P so no mugen xD

Yea going to go with megahalems and try 1/2 fans at 5/7v. Im not really into the mugen2 its ugly :P Just havent decided yet what fans on the CPU. Either the nexus or slipstreams 1200/800/500. For casefans I will go with the same aswell. Any more advice is welcome :) going to order my stuff today :P

Than u very much on helping me toxic :) I also could get that other case would I get it even more silent with the 182 Sure you can get a P182... but if you can starting buying fans and damping material to level down noises. And yes, a more quieter PSU is necessary too before bothering buying a P182...
