Sisoft Sandra shows something like 25w for Chipset/Memory, even if I have no idea on how it gets these values. This should lead to a THEORIC 124w under FULL load 55w undervolted 3850 256mb (63w@def for a table found here), 29w cpu, 25w p43/ram (23w non oc'ed for ixbtalbs), 10w for hdd and various st...

Everest cpu power consumption indicator

Can we consider the Power consumption feature in Everest as a trusted source?
It shows that my e5200 draws 7w at 264x6 and max 29w at 264x12.5

Lowest voltage for an Athlon xp mobile @2ghz?

Athlon xp mobile 2500+@2ghz, always used at 1.425... I was wondering if I can go below 1.4 while being rock solid, to reduce heat and power consumption. The rig uses Linux and it isn't a personal one, so I can't make some torture testing. Did anybody test lower voltages? Now it idles at 36/37° at 1...

I have a P5QL PRO and there isn't any way to adjust vcore in idle, while overclocking cpu. It always remain at 1.096v while at stock and with asus epu 4 engine, it dropped at something like 0.8v Furthermore I have only 3 possible voltages, but it doesn't happen anything, the voltage always remain at...

Yes of course you have to know that this is only an advice on the PSU, not on your actual power draw!! That's my situation: http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/7048/psucalculatorvq8.jpg My vga is undervolted too, so the result should even be less. Anyway that's slighty less than my old athlon x2 rig....

[ASUS P43]Enabling PECI function?

My CPU Temperature is higher than CORE temeprature, and this can't be real for pure physical facts. I have read that I need to enable the PECI function in my bios and it will turn the temperature reading for the better. Unfortunately I can't find this option in my P5QL PRO. How come the temp. readin...

detailed specs in the link in my sign.
Unfortunately I don't have any power meter atm.
I suppose something under 90w in idle, and some 190w in full (cpu+gpu).

Yeah unfortunately EPU doesn't work in OC, sad to hear isn't it. At stock, intel e5200 uses about 4w with epu 4ways and 6w without. What about P5QL PRO (p43) I bought 15 days ago? It overclocks well, and the northnridge is really cold. Any data about power consumption of this mobo? p.s Of course tha...

[45nm]Force undervolting in idle?

E5200, Asus p5ql pro (full specs in the link in my sign). CPU O'ed at 254*12.5 at 1.10v, so it stays in idle at 254*6 but the vcore doesn't change. At first I tried the cpu@stock, with ASUS EPU 4 ENGINE software, and it went at about 0.8v in idle... I tried also with crystalcpuid and rmclock, but al...

How much can I underclock our vga? I have set 100/250 (sapphire 3850) and I wonder if I can go lower without doing any damage. Furthermore, I put the 2d and 3d voltages 1 step lower, and it seems rock solid atm (0,974 and 1,094v). Ah, it seems there isn't any way to control fan via bios, even if I u...
