You could put one of those fans in the side of your case with a huge loudspeaker grill in front of it, go faster red stripes round the edges, blinding chrome trim and a pair of furry dice blowing in the 260cfm breeze... ROFL Seriously tho, they're right. Replacing that much air a second inside the ...

I don't plan on using any of these fans in my rig, but seeing "Japanaflo" was enough to justify reading this

In Via's space it's a very marketable processor... but for my HTPC I'll stick with a mobile barton. That's just it. It's in Via's space for a reason. If you think about it, they're more broadening their horizons than just trying to beat Intel. AMD's always been my favorite due to flexibility. Even ...

I have 4 of the 80mm's non thermostat. I've used all sorts of Panaflo's, and Papsts. The SilenX's are quieter. Do they push the advertised air? Don't know, pushes enough to get the job done for me.
Have you undervolted them at all? Do they make any bearing/motor noise or have clicking?

SilenX 120mm

Does anybody have any actual experience with these fans? http://www.silenx.com/productcart/pc/configurePrdz.asp?idcategory=3&idproduct=75 Their dBA to CFM ratio seems unrealistic, and I've heard only one person comment on them. I would imagine they make quite the air voshing sound pushing that many ...

Mobile Athlons

Ok basically I'm looking at purchasing a Mobile Athlon but for a lil different reason than most...I was considering a 2600+ or 2500+ and was wondering what kind of temps these put out at their lower voltages? I'm running a desktop 2500+ right now, and it runs 38C idle with a Zalman at full speed :ro...

Thanks for the tip geordie ;) I did a search on Zalman but gave up after scouring a few pages lol. Good to hear that it'll fit. Even pushed back in the bezel a bit won't bother me. About the LED's that's what I was afraid of. I was thinking they were +5V as well but damn they're so bright I thought ...

I'm in the midst of building my first semi-silent at least pc and would like to thank everyone here for their ideas and their testimonies as they've helped me quite a bit with this project. I just had two quick questions. First has anyone used this Zalman fan controll...
