I recently won a S-Flex D (800rpm) on ebay.
Quite impressed with it (it is quiet IMO) and fortunately thank God doesn't make the clicking noise.
Only problem - it doesn't start at 5v or 6v. I might use it to cool a Ninja Rev B or just stick a GlobalWin NCB undervolted to 5v.

I have sold 2 new ones so far, I'll reserve the used one for you if you are still interested. Please can you confirm it comes with all the bits? Also, what payment method do yo...

I Currently have an Antec NeoHE in the lower chamber of the P180 and I think that type of PSU (80mm fan) is really made for the P180. As I gave up trying to make my system silent :D, I'm not sure which is the noisiest component in my P180, pretty sure it's not the NeoHE. If you go for the NeoHE and ...

I have a very low tolerance so I silenced my computer until I couldn't hear it at all. I wanted to make the computer silent as well but... (see below) I got ze Acöstipack Yltimate . And a couple of the blocks. Lovely stuff. If the foam is too thick and hits your CPU cooler, you can always cut a ho...

Acoustipack V1 or V2
Just wondering which one to go for (Deluxe V1 or Ultimate V2) to dampen a P180?
The version 1 looks like a tried and tested item but not too sure on the version 2.
Thank you.

Re: P180 PSU Chamber Holes/Vent Advice
It will probably keep your hard drives a little cooler and help your psu but if its noisy or you have no hard drives down there then I would say remove it. Thank you again ;) It's the quietest 120mm fan I have - a NorthQ 120mm Ceramic Bearing fan, runs under 1000rpm when at 12v, when undervolted ca...

Thank you.Tez wrote:Removing the tape won't affect noise but leave it there so that the fan in the psu pulls cool air from the front of the case, past your hard drives.
Should I remove the lower chamber fan in that case?

P180 PSU Chamber Holes/Vent Advice
I was using an Enermax Noistaker (with both fans removed) in a P180 with the chamber fan doing the PSU cooling so blocked off the vents/holes around the PSU compartment so all air would exit via the PSU. I'm now using a NeoHE 550W (fan intact) and was wondering should I remove the tape blocking off ...

Heh, actually this is a notable problem. I frequenly don't know if my computer is on or off if the monitor isn't on. Without case lights it's hard to tell. I've frequently hit the power button thinking my computer was off when it was actually on. If you're referring to the P182 you have, then we kn...

Did you ever put a fan in front of the lower HD cage? There is a thread here about removing the metal 'cage' attached to the front lower grill. Once removed you can put a 120mm fan there. I removed the cage but have never put a fan there as I have a Scythe Quiet Drive in the lower section. Edit: her...

You're welcome ;) I prefer the Mirage and the Omega to the Eclipse, but I bought the Globalwin version (they sold it originally) a few years ago from Tekheads.co.uk (when they bought stock from The Overclocking Store after they'd gone bankrupt). Some people block off the top vent of the P180 - I suppose you would be doing the same with it under a desk? I'm not a fan of the Cosmos, too expensive and don't like the HD mounting in the original case. I have an Akasa Eclipse (well the Globalwin version) and P180. Easier to work inside the Eclips...
