Most utilities (RIVATUNER, EVGA precision) allow you to control the fans on some nvidia cards between 25% and 100% (or 'automatic mode', which in my case, has a idle of 40%)

Bought 2 mini 10v's for the family.

They are AWESOME acoustically. The only thing that sucks is the touchpad a little.

I opted for the mechanical HD, it's really quiet anyway and I'm picky usually.

How long does it take for the fan to go back down to 12dbA? Or does it ever go back completely down, and to what extent?
