The close up of the PSU bay shows one of the problems: the slots for the air intake are about 50% CLOSED. A larger hex opening grill is far more open.

Don't get me wrong - my case has a window, and my motherboard and video card have lights. My keyboard here at work have RGB - which I using to differentiate areas, making it easier to do my work. My mouse here at work also has RGB - but I don't use it, to extend its battery life.

The main difference is with a window, you can't have a dampening sheet on the inside. I don't think a window is make or break, but it is going to be quieter without one.

I have been happy with my Logitech G810 with the Romer G switches. Slightly quieter than a Das Keyboard with o-rings. I also have a Corsair with Cherry Red and o-rings.

The G413 is the lowest price unit with Romer G switches.

Well, the heat transfer from the CPU to the heatsink base is critical, as I'm sure you know. The grain of rice size thermal paste is the gold standard, as far as I know. If you have a flaw there, then that is not going to be overcome with more air flow.
