Uhm, the easiest would be to rip the wires from the fan out of the white socket and stuff them into 5 V or 7 V in a molex plug, so they run undervolted. That's a 5 minute fix, very cheap (free as in free beer) and gives a decent result! Excellent - just the kind of thing I was looking for. Could ve...

Your post sounds incredibly lazy to me, "I don't have time to search the forum or the website, so I hope you can do it for me". A first step to get your questions answered is to search the website and the forum to see if your question has already been answered before, and in your case it has been a...

Antec nsk3480 case fan too noisy ! Result !
I do not have the time to research all the different strings here in this forum so I'll just ask straight out: Is there anything I can do to make my stock case fan in my Antec NSK3480 run quieter. It is FAR to noisy for me I'm afraid. I already have it at "low".... If you know of a thread or solutio...

I am very happy with my LE-sempron in 3rd computer i am using it, but DualCore X2 4000+ shouldn't be terrible much more expensive and should give more for HTPC set-up. I have same motherboard than you do and I am satisfied. Motherboard can control fan nicely, I have had no buzz coil. And the onboar...

Basic htpc system - need input
Hi everyone and greetings from Norway ! I am going to build a htpc that will mostly be used for film and music. I am not fanatical about the film quality and do not have any HD films, they are mainly dvd rips and musicwise it's mp3. My TV is a SonyBravia 32" LCD. I am however, reasonably fanatical ...

Sapphire Radeon 9600XT Ultimate - reviews anyone ?
Does anyone have this card, and if so, what do you think of it ?
I am planning to put this card in a Antec 3700BQE case, so the airflow shouldn't be a problem.

Antec 2650BQE - No HDD heat trouble ?
Having read different threads incl. the review of the 3700BQU and it's HDD heating troubles, I am surprised that I have not seen any reviews of the 2650BQE. http://www.antec.com/images/400/SLK2650BQE_Inside.jpg Rear view of 2650 http://www.antec.com/images/400/3700BQE_Inside.jpg Rear view of 3700 As...

The Sonata is similar in terms of both size and price. There are probably others, but that's the first one that popped into my head. (give it a few hours, and they'll be more suggestions here, I can almost guarantee. ) Should I then forget the Enermax PSU since most stores sell the Sonata wit...

I need help by regular SPCR forum members  The last pc I bought was in 1998, and now I am buying a new system. I am not going to overclock this thing, my main concern is to get this as quiet as possible. Could you please look over the components I have chosen to see if this is any good/compati...
