You only need to connect one or the other 3-pin or molex

nexus min rpm is around 600 rps I think

and you should probebly mount the fan blowing towards the heat sink

The reason Intel sell so well is marketing. Up until about this year AMD only advertised to the enthusiast/system builder market and they only sold to that market Now they are starting to advertise to a broader market so naturally they should also sell to a broader market You can’t sell your product...

try coolcases
pre-modded just add your own foam and psu
cost is a little high though compared to modding it yourself

Be sure post how the Soltec is when you get it all set up.

Why do I not like the soltec?
Well last time I built a system I bought a cheap off brand mobo I was disappointed, so I guess I don’t want to take any chances.

You have a few things wrong First the on the weight issue you start with a ten pound aluminum case add parts and dampening and you end up with a 20 pound system or you could buy a 20 pound steel case and end up with a 30+ pound system. And on the price, melamine foam is very cheap and I would buy it...

That’s a pretty good looking system. I have also be looking for a good nforce4 mobo, since you are water cooling I would recommend the ASUS "A8V-E Deluxe" they make great motherboards and the northbridge fan could be replaced with a Zalman HS or you could water cool it For graphics card the x800 is ...

I'd love to see SPCR review of this case. I think it has great potential for a silent, lightweight and best-looking case. I'm thinking of buying this case so I could certainly send some pics and my findings, but I don’t have anyway of measuring sound so I could only compare it to other cases I have....

nforce 4 with xp-120

I’m planning on building an Athlon 64/ nforce 4 systemin the next few months. I want to use a thermalright xp-120 CPU cooler and a fanless Northbridge cooler like the Zalman. Unfortunately I don’t think that is possible with any of the motherboards. I have them ranked in order of preference 1 ASUS "...

for me the aluminum light weight and the sexy looks of lian li cases out weigh the extra hum and vibration.

I have always though they should just put 120 fans in the good old lian li design.

I had a WD drive that passed all the tests but kept failing, but what finally worked for me was to use a utility to write all zeros to the drive then reformat.
(In the end the drive had a bad file allocation table so I RMA’d it)
hope that works

Try suspending your hard drives.
Don’t do anything elaborate to start, just see if that helps.
Also the door might be rattling, I fixed this once by putting adhesive doughnut shaped pieces of silicone on a few contact points inside the door and the rattling stopped.
Good luck with that.

I will probably use standard plastic spray paint, because it is easy, but if there is any special spray paint type or brand you recommend I would appreciate the advice.
