Homebrew VGA duct Project halted Due to the slip of a knife

Hello I though it might be a good idea to make this seeing as my VGA Temps drop by about 5-7c when I open the side of my case. But instead of drawing it and asking for options I made it instead. Any who here it is. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/Fat_bloater_dave/VGA%20Duct/Fangone.jpg First ...

Re: tj07 case and antec 180

do u have any feel for noise level coming out of an open vent about two feet by 3 inches in a left side pannel (the tjo7) with two 120mm fans in front of two rapotrs with the fans right next to the mesh. Depends wich fans you are useing, i would say though that one 120mm fan would be ample to cool ...

Ok well obvously i wrong, but its better than spending loads of time trawling arround the net looking for the same "wattages" or even worse just guessing how much power your computer is going to draw. And ontop of that i would have thought giveing the result as the highest posible Wattage your compu...

A verry good Wattage Calculator

Hey im shure other people have seen this Wattage Calcuator before but this is the best one i have seen. Maby you could put a link to this somewhere on the site because i see lots of people thinking that they need 500W/600W power supplys with there new comptuers, this might convince them otherwise.

Remove the tapes and use cable ties! If you need to change anything in 6 months, you'll spend hours cleaning the residue they leave behind. An advice from the lazy and anal: Never do something that will later make you work to undo! Well i would but. A) useing cable ties wouldnt help unless i...

How did you get the bottom drive cage off. I have a Xaser III (a 7 fan beast, which i've reduced to 5) and it seem like getting that bottom cage off would increase the airflow from the 2 intake fans. Ah, lovely! Is there any ventilation gap underneath the hard drive? Personally, I would have used spare standard fan screws to mount the fans rather than waste zip-ties, but hey, it's your money. At least I see that you've halved the number of zip-ties wasted. (Yes, I am THAT cheap.) I think you mi...

My Homemade External HD Caddy

I brought an enclosure called the Icybox which for some reason didn’t work which really pissed my off, so I was going to by another one and I saw a USB to IDE connector on EBay so I decided to make my own and here it is. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/Fat_bloater_dave/HD%20caddy/Picture001.j...

You really must sort your cables out, not just because it looks, as you say, like there is a family of rats nesting in there, but also because it is probably impacting negatively on your airflow. You see I thought about that and I guess it might help some, but really I don’t think I need too I mean...
