No, I don't think the XP-90 + fan will fit. From the pics we've seen so far, my guess is the total internal height is about 95mm - 100mm, and the CPU cooler clearance around 80mm - 85mm. Plus, ventilation on the top appears somewhat limited and doesn't seem to be positioned above the CPU, so ideall...

My problem is i see nothing wrong with any of my caps on visual inspection. And i might be wrong but from looking at the caps they look like panasonic i've seen on the net. I don't know if i should spend the some 40$ to recap everything from 470µF up with quality stuff when that's half the price of...

fitting large gaming cards into htpc cases
I want to make a silent gaming machine with nvidia's Hybrid Power motherboard + a 9800GTX. The prospect of a powerful gaming card completly powering off while not gaming is a very attractive idea. Does the 9800GTX fit into the NSK2400? I think it's 10'5 long.

question about [popping] electrolytic capacitors
I have a motherboard that is acting really unstable lately. I recently put an athlon black edition on recently, and even not overclocked it's unstable. I would die more often when paired with tighter timing ddr2 ram, fare a bit better with 5-5-5-15. When i took it out for inspection, i found no popp...

Hybrid Power and powerXpress
Which DESKTOP motherboard or chipset support this, and it has to be coupled with which graphics card? There seems to be no information out there, and plenty of contradictions. 780G was supposed to support powerxpress, but then didn't. Then they said it would at a later time. Does that mean it will b...

An odd question it would seem but do you have any USB headers on the board? Like for front case? Very bizare thing with my computer is that it would sometimes boot and most time not when i had the front case USB plugged into the last header (7&8 in my case), the logic being i wanted to leave 5&6 and...

Does the desktop 780G support powerXpress like the mobile? Early previews said that it did. If it doesn't, i'm gonna go with nvidia HybridPower instead. It's wierd, since before the parts were released, wikipedia made it look like the 780G was the most energy efficient chipset because it was on 55n...

On a side note, i tried to mount a Mini Ninja on a thermalright rev B module and it did not fit. The 478 clip base was too large and the AM2 bracket isn't square like the 478. Don't ask my why i needed to do that when the Mini Ninja has an AM2 clip, i can't get that piece of shit to clip on the firs...

My tablet pc is on a CF card. It's running WinXP Tablet edition, plus some necessary components taken from WinXP Embedded. I've put a write filter on top of the CF containing the system partition, so it should last me as long as i want. Being a portable machine by nature, running out of ram for the ...
