Title says it all. I was thinking a 2.5" Laptop drive, but I don't know. In your opinions what is the quietest non-SSD drive on the market today?

I have no idea what type of drive it is but I do have a newer IDE WD 160GB. It was made in November or 2008, so that should be better right? Its a WD1600AAJB WD Caviar SE, I'll try it out.

Might have already been said but you can buy a compact flash card or a microdrive and a IDE converter and use it as an IDE hard drive. Compact flash cards are expensive when they get in big capacities and probably slower than true SSDs.
