Brilliant little box, very expensive for what it does though. You can configure a Mac Mini to do everything Bubba can... and more, much more. The prices listed on their website are high, but you'll have to add shipping +VAT. It's prohibitively expensive unfortunately. Does it have a fan btw? I haven...

If I were you I'd reconsider the enclosed Raptor. :) I have a Raptor in a Scythe Quit Drive in an otherwise just about inaudible TJ08, and it is BY FAR the loudest component. Compared to a naked Raptor, enclosing it does make a big difference, but the noise it makes still completely drowns out my fa...

Phenomenal. Wish I had the skills to build something like this. Too bad they don't sell cases like this, I think it looks excellent.

SLI does not work with multiple monitors! nVIDIA has been saying they'll incorporate multi-monitor support for a LONG time now, so I wouldn't hold out hope of it happening any time soon, either. You'd be wasting your money on an SLI setup. You would get 0 benefit from the second 7600GT, unless you'r...

I've strongly considered a HFX mini before I settled on my (more conventional) current computer. I've spent a lot of hours doing research, and if your graphic needs are minimal, I would suggest not to invest in a graphics card at all, but to get a motherboard with as good a graphical chipset as is a...

mCubed's latest marvel... HFX micro.

Not available yet (3-4 months according to mCubed) but look at it! http://www.hifiatx.com/hfx.php?lang=EN This thing looks truly spectacular, and according to a forum post by an mCubed employee, it shouldn't cost more than 200 euros including VAT. Hopefully by the time this beauty hits the shelves s...

What motherboard are you using? I know there are some motherboards out there that let you use either the onboard VGA, or a discrete card. Not both. I think the most recent ones let you use both though. To be sure, I'd contact the manufacturer and find out.

Can someone give me an indication of the build quality of this case? I'm interested in buying one because my TJ08 is too flimsy. Is it comparable to an Antec Solo? Also, does it have those sillicone grommets for feet found on other Antec cases? Thanks. :) I can't comment directly on the NSK3400, bu...

... I am looking to replace my TJ08 with an NSK3400 just curious: these cases are so similar, why bother switching from one to the other? Not pleased with the build quality of the TJ08. Aside from the frontpanel... it's flimsy. I can't stop the panels from resonating, it's quite annoying. I also ha...

I wouldn't go with the 7600GS because you're getting one DVI + D-SUB per card. If you have a four monitor setup used for financial trading, I would assume you're dealing with LCDs and not CRTs. DVI makes a huge difference when it comes to making text readable, and that alone would make the premium o...

I don't have an NSK3300, but I am looking to replace my TJ08 with an NSK3400 (same as the 3300 but with a regular ATX powersupply instead of those odd SFX ones). Since the case dimensions are virtually identical, the TJ08 and the NSK3(3)400 don't really differ much, so what'll work in a TJ08 should ...

Thanks for your reply Neill, that would have been a good choice. Unfortunately I've given up on my idea (biggest issue is the humongous capacitors on my motherboard directly surrounding the CPU socket, making it impossible to use anything but the standard cooler). I've been tinkering with my main co...

Thanks for all of your help/suggestions! I've considered getting an AM2 system with a cheap Sempron, but I'd have to get some DDR2 ram as well which would increase cost. This isn't a huge deal, but I'd prefer using my old parts as they are more than sufficient for this computer's duties. It only nee...

Some questions about recycling old parts into new system.

My main computer is a Conroe based system with a Raptor and a larger disk for storage in a TJ08. Reasonably pleased with this system, but the harddrive seeks are unbearable. Since it's a TJ08 and I have my PCI slots in use, there's no real room to put it in an enclosure. So... I've decided to re-use...
