And don't forget that the SP-94 is made of pure copper only. If I move a bit my fan...

Save me from the horrible PC noise monster! (Help with fans)
Hi ! For the 80mm, I recommend the Arctic Cooling Fan Pro TC ; no noise from the sleeve bearing at all, just the sound of the airflow, and when it's undervolted, it's stealthy ! For the 92mm, some friends of mine recommend the Papst 3412NGL or the Noiseblocker SE2. In my case, I always used no...

Wanna see an old good SP-94 with a.....120mm FAN ?!
Hi ! The previous temperatures over 50°C were achieved with the SP-94 and a no-name 92mm fan running at 2000RPM. Well, the new 120mm, with all the other upgrades in my PC, lower of about 3-4°C the CPU temperature, but the 120mm helps to reduce the noise, and even cools the northbridge chipset. This ...

Another source for nexus fans
Me too ; I am a cheap bastard ! And always keep in mind, that some useful components can be found in the wreckages of old PCs. For example, I found a thermoregulation chip in an old PSU. This chip was produced in 1993, and is still working well ! Write down in your brain that TRASH IS W...

Seasonic gets first 80 Plus certification
It's clear that these new PSUs will make us save a few bucks.
But the most important thing is the fact that we try to take care of our Mother Nature.
After all, isn't the Earth priceless ?

More Muffled Sonata Madness
Hi all ! Nice work, JanW, or should I say : "Beau boulot !" ? It's quite a barbarian method of dealing with the sound, but it's the way I also operate, so I like it. For the French-speaking guys of SPCR, here is the French counterpart of SPCR : www.pcsilencieux.com Oh, I think you'd like my work : h...

Hi all ! I am new on SPCR, but I already got my medals for bravery in combat against the enemy of the United Users of Silent PCs ! For the few who understand French, it will be easy to understand. For the others, just watch the 23 photographs, and admire my work ! Everything is here ...
