Cooler Master Sileo might be pretty good. Of course you can take any antec NSK 3400 or NSK 4400 series case and pad it your self.

@ Klusu: No I don't think Sapphire can automaticly control any fan. Same was with 4-pin stock fan. Compearing L2 pro vs S1: S1 performs better with fan, but not by as large margin as I expected. I should conduct more tests to actually test how much better S1 does. S1 is huge which his problem for so...

That all actually depends on your ambedient noise level and what kind of hearing you have. Personally I say WD black is audiable. I have 640 GB WD Black suspended in Antec 300. But its not nearly as bad as 160 Gb SeaGate it replaced. But with enough quiet components WD black will be most audiable th...

Hi!

Many members have used full sized 80 mm fan blades to replace their VF-900's fan. Nexus 80mm RealSilent is nice option. It takes three slots then but is quieter. With Search Function you can search if you can find the pictures.

Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 Pro Quick Test

Yeah, its me again. I was really bored today so I decided to play again with my Sapphire HD 4850. I yesterday fitted S1 rev. 2 on it with 2x 92mm fans. I also had Accelero L2 Pro. Now the little devil on my shoulder whispered on my eyers why not test that too, so here I went. So what does roughly 15...

I know I know only one fan or no fans at all. But 1000 RPM 92mm fans are slow moving fans that also do not push that much air. I decided to use 2x 92mm fans so I could spread air flow nicely over VRM and memories too. Once I install Akasa Fan Control Jr on the case I'll undervolt both fans slightly....

Sapphire HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 HDMI + Accelero S1 rev2

Hello everyone! I was bored and found back of my closet 2x 1000 RPM S-flex 92mm's and AC Accelero S1 Rev 2. The Sapphire's stock cooler does decent job but is audiable. I was almost pulling trigger on AC TwinTurbo Pro but hey, since I got Accelero S1 rev 2 why buy another. The Sapphire HD 4850 512MB...

Led Fans are different than most half-decent fans due they are made clear and bristle plastic that gives completely different type of sound. One reason I abandoned led lights in fans and went CCFL way in Game rig ( that and I hate blue leds )

There ain't such thing really. Only thing closest are Scythe Kaze Q as 4 channel input system but no led and others bells nor whistles. Asking led illumination with turn off method in 3,5" is quite a lot to ask. If you just need good 3,5" 4 channel controller without fancy leds and turn off method, ...

SI-128 SE should come standard the bolt thru kit and not push-pins. At least my model came with bolt thru. That 775 rev 2 kit except multi support backplate. installation Check that link. Does your cooler have those little gaps in each fin? Are you sure you have SI-128 SE and not the regular SI-128?

When you have you cleaned dust out of that system last time? In dust build up it might clog in the heatsink and increase the temperatures.

Hello, welcome to the forum!

To increase effectiveness of the Cooler, I suggest you will duct it to the rear exhaust- This will quarantee the cooling capacity of the CPU

Now 5750 can run pretty hot passively, so do think getting slowspeed 500-800rpm fan and attach it on cooler if necessary.

Accelero is surefire. My HD 4850 runs low 30's in idle with Accelero S1 and 120mm 800rpm scythe ziptied.

Akasas weakneses are: clear plastic, integrated fan that cannot be changed, small diameter blower fan is usually high toanlity and not smooth, especially with clear plastic.

Cheap ones are rarely quiet. PSU is one of the components you don't want to cut much corners because poor PSU can frie your motherboard, CPU, VGA card and HDD. Good PSU can deal with power spikes and protect your hardware.
