Yess now you can cook a T-bone on your computer :o I love these cards, what I usually do is strap a 92mm Nexus @5V right on the heatsink and you get wonderful temps with almost no noise at all. These are great way for non technical ppl that are normally afraid of disassembling their cards to get gr...

Thanks Mike great review, glad you change your mind about this fanless baby! Great efficiency for an office build, the x-650 was an overkill for my needs. I wonder where is the best place to put it: at the bottom like in p180's or on top with a hole on the case :?: On top of course, heat rises, and...

I would go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835191005 since I know think that Evercool fan specs are bullsh*t. Think about it, SilenX fan specs call for 18 CFM@2000 RPM while Evercool calls for 31.62 CFM@2300 RPM. It is impossible to gain almost 50% more airflow with only 1...

Could anybody give me an idea of what type of system you can run with a 400W PSU like this? E.g. could you run a quad core a single high end gfx card (perhaps not a fermi) and a 2-3 drives with it? Sure could, even with a Fermi. As a rough estimate, you could say up to 120W for the CPU/mobo/RAM and...

It's amazing how far we have come in last 5 years when it comes to PSUs. A great product Seasonic and it's nice to see you back where you belong, on top as the best PSU maker once again.
Thanks to SPCR for another interesting and usefull review.

Nope that's not what i think at all but more along the line: more amps = more noise as fumino said that is wrong too. amps tells about how much current fan motor needs, it has absolutely nothing to do with noise at all. Jyuni seem to be sleeve bearing, so probably not suitable for horizontal mounti...

I find very little need for a separated PSU since in this case PSU draws fresh, cool air from it's own intake on the bottom.

Samsung coming with Spinpoint F4 drives

Well samsung have finally launched their F4 drives. Capacity is 320GB, SpinPoint F4 features a single 640 GB platter used on just one side and therefore with just one read head.. Performance should be 10% better then current F3 drives due to higher data density. Interesting is that they cut cache to...
