i have a question about the fans. are you running the two nexus intakes on 12V (ie full speed), or do you have a fan controller? how loud is the system altogether?

Brendan

*EDIT*, can you use a 120mm hole drill to drill out the grills?

the two nexus 92mm fans are rated for 27 cfm at 19 dba, which matches the 36.87 cfm produced by the nexus exhaust fan, so i shouldn't have a problem. however, i have another quetion. since we all know that the human ear can't hear below 20 dba, is it ok if i run the 2 nexus intakes at 12 V (regular ...

*she* doesn't like the white+silver combination. also, a fan conroller will mess up the 'understated' look of the SOLO where there's only the dual DVD burners visible. perhaps the Zalman fan mate might work. will it work if i daisy chain the two 92mm fans to it? BTW, i couldn't find any DDR2 667 val...

what case do you have? IMO there is no need to go dual radiator because 1 dual-pass, dual 120mm fans radiator or a dual-pass, triple 120mm fans will be enough.

ok, decided on the top mount approach. will also include this in my purchases: RadGrillzâ„¢ Stripes 2x120 Aluminum Black ACR-RG35289 even if i don't need a PSU duct, i want to leave the top 2 bays covered with modder's mesh to give my case a high tech look thinking to replace lowest 5.25 bay with th...

would it make a noticeable temperature difference if i mounted the rad on the top, instead of the bottom? also, i was going to the top 2 5.25 bays empty cause i wanted to do a PSU duct.

as to the AM2 proc's, wait till July 30 (i think), that's when intel's coming out with the Conroe! Amd is going to slah most of the prices in half since early benchmarking shows that a cheaper Conroe extreme edition can OWN an AM2 FX-62.

ALWAYS get OEM. it is ALWAYS cheaper than the retail thing, minus the flashy packaging, and the software, but it's CHEAPER.
