I plan to use Scythe Ninja 2 to cool down the CPU) I will use them is Asus TA-98 case. mbibt, can you maybe measure how much power your computer is drawing at idle from the wall? ...

That Sapphire HD 4670 Ultimate looks very, very good! I pulled trigger on this one with my local retailer. I really do like the fact passive cooling is more than enough, its small and has DVI, VGA and Display Port ^^ review in here: http://metku.net/index.html?path=reviews/sapphire-ultimate-hd4670/...

That said, I'm also looking forward to upgrade my system in the future, using a M-ATX board.. if I ever find the right one! My dream one would have: 965 mobile chipset 6x sata ports Socket P, possibly with LV and ULV cpu support. Just some ideas: DFI-ACP SR330-N is microATX, has GME965 ICH8M chipse...

darkbane, ...all the measurements were made with the Raid array in spin-down, since its power requirements are not the point of this research. D. Uses two slots place, and the heatsink is above the card, not under.

You are unlikely to need any front fans to keep the drive cool. I've got two systems that use the Solo. The first one uses an orange Yate Loon exhaust fan and has a 10K RPM Seagate Cheetah SCSI drive. I wasn't able to get enough air flow over the drive without a front fan to keep the drive comforta...
