Ah yes, 190 million years ago. When Antarctica was one continent together with India, Australia, Africa and South America.

As for the poles moving, that mostly affects the magnetic poles and not the rotational ones. Continental drift plays a lot larger part, at least.

Yes, RAID0 makes reads and writes a bit quicker, at the risk of losing all the data from one drive failure.

Anything flashed with a 3rd party (linux-based) firmware a la dd-wrt or openwrt should be able to do that. One guide to setting this up is here. As for what routers this would work on, see their hardware compatibility list.

Running a game in a VM would kill graphics performance, though, since that's not virtualised.

No, PCI is 133 Mbyte per second, which is just above 1 Gbit (which is 125Mbyte/second). Keep in mind that MB != Mb, and network speeds are defined i Mb.

470 grains. I was on level 39 or 40 for a while, but in the end dropped down to 32 or so. Not bad for a non-native speaker, but then I've read a lot of English, and many words can be traced back to Latin or Greek, and with a little luck I can guess those.

Most (all?) 8800GTS have the same style of two-slot cooler that the GTX has, so with lower clocks and less memory I see no reason for it to be hotter.
