I do know that the radeon 9000 runs very cool. I have a 9000pro and I just unplug the stock fan. No additional cooling on the sink either. They will fit BUT make sure they use the clip system to mount and not the bolt through the motherboard method. Use your best judgement on clearance vs size of the heatsink. well availability of the yate loons is the killer, and you can always buy nexus, but then the killer becomes price. Panaflo is still the reference for 80mm, although not the top recommendation;).

might want to put that fan as the intake, you MIGHT get better temps and definately less dust in the case. On the otherhand, you might also get more noise since the fan is now closer to the ear, so you may want to experiment.

I think upgrading your cpu cooler may help you out a lot, I suggest the Zalman 7000 Alcu for example.
