After the SoundBlaster Live! nightmares I wasn't interested in Creative anymore. Look elsewhere - specifically http://www.terratec.com/ I have the DMX 6/Fire card. At the time it came out it was top of the line (for $250). The Creative Audigy "24-bit" soundcard was a complete piece. Spend a little m...

I stopped worrying about rear exhaust fans and even a rear 80mm PSU exhaust after a while, and my 2400+ gets to about 60 in th...

Mobile Athlon64 35W CPU
Is there anyone out there who has installed this CPU into a regular 754 motherboard with success?
I'm thinking of purchasing it, but I'm not positive if it will work or not.

It's probably your power supply when you're scrolling around in Internet Explorer. I've had this happen a ton of times to me.
Try Mozilla or a new Power Supply? Anyone else want a slice of this one?

I was in London last may and must confess that it is MUCH louder than my nice 200k population suburb here. I also found it hilarious that some drunk hit a light pole at 2:30AM, got out of his car, got back in, TRIED TO START IT (it was demolished) got out, ripped the license plates off and walked aw...

You should search the threads - some people get whiny Samsungs, some Loud-seeking/whiny Seagates. I own both and both are the quietest 3.5" drives I've ever come across. I have two 120GB 7200.7s in one machine and only notice the fan noise. I have the Samsung 80GB in my music PC and only notice the ...
