We'll be waiting a while for that one.

I was originally cynical about the jump from 2MB > 8MB. I quickly reversed my thinking.

16MB from 8MB is going to be awesome for HDD intensive apps (A/V Editing).

Looks like a cut and paste spam message to me.

Probably just forgot to take out the 80 and make it a 250 or whatever.

Now I have to wait for a new SG HDD...Hopefully the price of the 7200.7 will drop some more. I love them!

Do you have the DTR (or Mobile) CPU? If you do, then you don't have a heatspreader. This causes a 2mm gap that needs to be filled - people use washers on the screws to accomplish this.

Hope this helps...

I remember when I was in the 50s in team ranking. Now I'll be in the 100 range.

I still think I'm doing quite well on a 2400+.

I'm just happy that QUIET (or MAINLY quiet) PCs are climbing the list and surpassing all of these overclocking gurus and Delta fan lovers.

Keep on Keepin' on!

Looks like the Audophiles are speaking their minds these days.

My opinion:

Creative :(
Terratec :D

I've used AND recorded music on both. And you CAN hear a quality difference between 96/24 and 44/16

I'm excited about 192/32...

Ah...The war goes on and on and on and on...

I love it!

Industry Standard for CDs is 24bit, 96KHz, then downsampled to 16bit, 44.1kHz. This is shifting to 192kHz, though.

You can hear the difference between 16/44.1 and 24/96. Of course I do record music, so I'm probably biased.

After the SoundBlaster Live! nightmares I wasn't interested in Creative anymore. Look elsewhere - specifically http://www.terratec.com/ I have the DMX 6/Fire card. At the time it came out it was top of the line (for $250). The Creative Audigy "24-bit" soundcard was a complete piece. Spend a little m...

I'd personally try to put them on some foam or something in the bottom of the case (in their 3.5" cage if it comes off) and run a panaflo 80L at 7v across them. That's what I do with my pair of Seagate 7200.7s, and it keeps them nice and cool (and they don't vibrate against the case).

Mobile Athlon64 35W CPU

Is there anyone out there who has installed this CPU into a regular 754 motherboard with success?

I'm thinking of purchasing it, but I'm not positive if it will work or not.

It's socket 754. I was just wondering if the mobile Athlon64s could be treated much like the Mobile AthlonXPs.

The Biostar 200P supports Socket 754.
