Intels new atom can do that using a PicoPSU. Also if your getting gigabit ethernet LAN/out get a decent card (with a Intel controller which support TCP offloading).

Good temps. I think you can get them down a little more by using a little less or more thermal paste.

True, tower heatsinks with bolt-on designs will certainly keep the heatsink in place. However, simple physics dictates the farther away (taller) the weight is from the motherboard, the greater the potential for stress to be applied during shipping. If there is enough stress, the motherboard could f...

Re: VGA coolers take too many slots

Hi there I wanted to use an SLI system with each card having an accelero S1 with 2 nexus fans. but that takes up 3 pci slots!! (according to my estimates) That would basically cover my entire mother board, and not allow my to have any other cards How do you guys have quiet cards and still have a mo...

So - did anyone actually put their hands on this case? After time without using computer in my studio, I'm changing it about, so looking at the Antec Take 4 once again. I cant see any review on the site.... Not even sure what the PSU is in it or if it can be swapped if needed - there is not even a ...

Something that adds weight to the panels is likely to be necessary. Thin(1-2mm) bitumen sheets are plenty effective if you can cover most of the surface area. Though satisfied with the current result with a CM Stacker I'll never buy an Alu case again if I can avoid it, although steel cases tend to ...

I recently put a Scythe Setsugen on my Asus CuCore 5770. It idles at 33C and stabilizes at 61C in Furmark. I did a hybrid mounting scheme because the backplate and screw/nut system from Scythe took up too much room and physically interfered with my Mugen2. I used AS 5 for the TIM rather than the in...

What blocks do you have in your setup? Because mixing copper and alu (reserator alu pump/heatsink combo) isnt good. It creates corrosion.

Well, if you get a decent drive go internal USB :) Both still are flash memory. So they wont last much writes. If your OS has much writes to one of the flash memory options dont get em. You can get low power but you'd better get a SSD (some 2nd hand SSD which was made in the beginning of the SSD tec...

My opinion: why would they do it? Imagine your computer is a a car. Why would you put a ferrari engine block in a ford GT? A: why would ferrari or ford would make standardized holes? If you want to mount the cooler in a back to front airflow you could get this accesory from Xigmatek ACK-ATI775 with that thingey you can mount your cooler in 4 ways not in 2 ways. It creates a S775 mounting for the AM2/3 platform.
