Re: Non-optical USB mouse?
A non-optical, non-wireless USB mouse. Does it exist? I certainly can't find one in the stores in my town. A quiet one would be nice too. :) I can't tolerate the EMF's from the opticals/wireless. In the meantime I have a PS/2 mouse with a USB adapter, but trying to improve on that. TIA All research...

Do any of you actually live in Texas? Or even the US? N7SC lives in Florida, NeilBlanchard in Maynard, CA_Steve from California and so on. As you can see quite a few americans here. We have a right to determine what will be taught to our children and how it will be taught. If you don't like it, the...

Re: Displayport HDMI audio
Do you prefer audio stuff for yoga like relaxing music or instructions, or a video? Personally, I prefer a video because you can interact with it more and get the pose right... or try to Stop smoking crack. It's obviously not good for you since you are seeing and reading stuff that is just not ther...

keyboard and LCD are small too. The screen's resolution is low, and with no digital video output, nor hardware acceleration for high definition video, it is best suited for playing standard definition material. While Atom is energy efficient, its performance is anemic; the hardware is only suitable...

What is this about the C2D E7500 2.93GHz booting up in 38 seconds while the Core i5-650 3.2GHz takes 1:01? Why would that be? Because in booting CPU has very small part. HD speed is responsible for like 80% of time it takes. Rest is drivers loading(partly HD dependent too), BIOS initiation (POST) a...

If you do forgo SSDs for the time being, there are now quite a number of hard drives that are extremely quiet, some of them with very large capacity. you wouldn't want to go to that site with a flat-panel lcd because it proves how inferior the gamma range of your monitor is, compared to even the cheapest crt monitor. kind of a moot point tho, because there are very few crts left in this world.
