Yes, so far I like it. I know the paste has to settle in. Sure is a whole lot bigger than that Intel piece of crap, for sure! I am using an SSD now which I may keep or sell, not too sure. With just that, if I took out the WD Black 1TB it would be even quieter. Although that is really one super quiet...

Reason I ask is that I compared my stock CUP fan to my up and coming Noctua 92mm fan that came with my 9B heatsink. (In fact 2 of them came with) and was VERY surprised to hear an unacceptable high pitch to the Noctua. My 120mm Noctua case fan is inaudible. CRAP! I am not even going to bother instal...

I would think that the fan left in place would seriously interfere with the airflow.
