It will never be "fried". You PC will lock up / crash / BSOD once the GPU reaches a critical temperature. If its not doing that or artefacting its fine.

The one thing I hate about the P180 is the duel tone colour scheme. Either make it in silver or black, but not a mixture of both.

....then the Mini seems rather pointless. Not powerful enough for 720p as well as being expensive.
