I perfer SFF sizes, but most models available are horrible to say the least. Way too big, with cramped CPU cooler space, and yet it has 5.252 slots? However, "Small as possible" doesn't really sound like a tower to me. I guess we need another thread. :D Lodehacker: Maybe you'll like Silverstone GD0...

I find it interesting that most previous reviews have stated great cpu cooling and adequate gpu cooling whereas spcr found the reverse. Re: i7 PC electrical noise leaking into audio recordings

I wonder if this may be one reason that Apple hasn't done an i7 Mac Pro yet. Who said that? http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/14/apple-nehalem-based-mac-pro-unboxing-and-hands-on/  Remember though, that a Mac computer is upgradeable only to a certain point, while the PC platform gives you th...

From what I've read, it's likely Windows 7 is to Vista what XP was to Windows ME. I jumped from '98 to XP, never got on board with Vista. So, if history repeats, I'll get on the 7 train. I've read about actualization, but don't really know the practical aspects of not having vs. having. Can you she...

So, either a MoBo port or a bracket; if the eSATA cable is connected to the MoBo port, how does it connect through to the outside of the chassis? The external HDD would need to connect to a port of some kind (like a USB port) on the outside, would it not?. Does eSATA really only refer to the type o...

Once the new fan arrives, it'll be back to grating off some more. Then i'll put in the optical drive (maybe later a bluray if they become cheap). I'll replace the barracuda with maybe a samsung F2 or a WD green as storage and an SSD as OS drive. Asside from that, it's pretty much done. Draws around...

For sure, I actually stealth-modded my optical drives by hacking off the sides of the cover plate that I wasn't using. Then I had a full aluminum front.
