I've got one of these and am mostly satisfied with it (ironically, some of the previous posters on here say that its looks are its strong suit, while I consider the cheap looking silver plastics that occupy the right 1/4 of the unit to be its hugest Achilles heel, along with the useless viewing angl...

Looks awesome inside and out! (hope you cut some holes in the sides of the AV shelf so the system doesn't suffocate :o ) I'm still deciding whether to build my HTPC in a Fusion Black or your case's black twin /w VFD, so I appreciate any pics I can find on builds using those cases (most reviews aren'...

^ That's a good idea as well. Thanks guys! Sorry if i have prematurely pointed the finger at my brand/model if it really is such a common occurrence in LCDs. I was alarmed when I googled the problem along with my model #, and the first 2 reviews of the monitor I came across, both complained of noise...

Thanks for the tip, Badger. Unfortunately, it only goes away at 100% brightness, which is a bit brighter than I'd like... but at least the noise is gone. Matzon > Not in my experience, at least not on the scale that I was experiencing. The hum was louder than my HDD while seeking, and I don't have o...

A warning for those considering a Viewsonic VX2235wm 22"

After replacing my loud OCZ PSU fan, suspending my Harddrive, and tweaking my fans with a Zalman MFC2 controller, I found my loudest component to be.... my LCD monitor, the Viewsonic VX2235wm 22"!! The noise is a mid-high pitched hum reminiscent of very small high-rpm fans, but upon some research, i...

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you, but thanks for following up.
I was considering getting a NSK2480 with the Earthwatts 380W if it was better than the regular 380W that comes with the NSK2400, but i guess there's no point in spending more if its fan is noisy...

re: Zalman MFC2 fan controller I have no experience using the product, so that's all I can say at this point. Google chucks out this review: http://www.bcchardware.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=3518&Itemid=40&limit=1&limitstart=0 which doesn't really go into details, but does make the p...

Hello Everyone! I've been reading on these forums for a while (sadly not before buying my OCZ GXS600 PS) and decided to finally join and start contributing... First off, thanks to Druneau for the vid and pics, as well as all the useful info. I've been looking into this fan controller and been gettin...
