I don't know of any nation in the world that allows illegal aliens to enter their country. Having traveled to many countries around the world, I can tell you categorically that the US has the most lax immigration laws in the world. Are you sure? Let me see if I've got this right... IF YOU CROSS THE...

I guess I should have known better than to believe Dyson. Their vacuum cleaners aren't very good either according to Consumers Reports. I wouldn't touch Dyson stuff again after having a vacuum cleaner. Granted there are no bags to buy, instead you have to replace the very expensive filters on a reg...

I ended up putting the hard drive in a Zalman Hard Drive Heatipe ZM-2HC1. This got rid of most of the vibrations. This case will be moved around some so I wasn't comfortable suspending the drive. I can't think of a better way of mounting a hard drive if you're moving the case around - what better s...

You don't say what country you're in nwbdan - Euro zone evidently, but it sound's expensive! The Seasonic PSU I was talking about is available for the equivalent of 78 Euros in the UK at Scan. The reason that it's not in the recommended list is probably because it's only been out for a few months an...

I think both those are old news now. I got a Seasonic S12 II Bronze M520 (See here ) a couple of months ago and I'm very happy with it. The VX 450 is certainly a lot louder than the S12; I know that from personal experience because I put one in the computer I built earlier in the year for my daughter.

If the US's insatiable thirst for oil (not disputed) is such an important factor in the spill then why aren't all the other oil companies having the same problem? Simply, because BP were unlucky. Someone has to be first. They all cut corners, they all wing it from time to time, it's just that in th...

The only reason they are drilling there is because of America's insatiable demand for gas to fuel all those huge V8 engined pick up trucks so many of you seem to love driving around in. The US consumes a quarter of the entire worlds annual production of crude oil, of which 47% is used for gasoline!...

The individual BP employees who submitted the phony disaster recovery plan and the individual Federal employees who approved it need to be criminally charged with fraud. Life's a bitch - I thought everyone knew that? Ok but let’s make the best of it. I do - always. 2. BP proposed that they pump sea-water into the well instead of using mud (the traditional method) because it was faster. The BP workers and the drilling company were very concerned because this was not normal procedure, and using mud kept the pressure down to be able to control the well so that i...

Just imagine how much the folks at BP now wish that they had spent the $500,000 on the acoustically activated switch, that only the USA rules allow you to do without!? 1. How long would it take to recoup the £40 difference in electricity savings?
If you want a very good and very quiet power supply, may I recommend this. It's £64.50 at Scan.
I've got the modular version and I can't hear it at all at idle and barely at all when under load.

It's no more fair to say that Americans now hate the British anymore than blaming this debacle on the British. We should be able to agree that both sides harbor more than their fair share of loud and annoying arses that do not represent the populace in general. Many in this loud group simply seize ...

You seem to think BP is some kind of British government organization, as opposed to a private company. That's the last thing I think - how do you draw that conclusion? It's already been established that BP is a global multinational, 39% of it's shares are owned by Americans and that the majority of...

I dont see any media slant here to blame BP just because they're from overseas. The anger towards BP comes from their systematic disregard for safety and the environment.
