@ burcakb: What I have heard at another forum about the Noiseblocker SX2 that is a quite good fan. I bought a Scraper for my father, but I'll get it probably not before next week, so I can't personally say if it's a good fan or not. When not you can still get a Nexus fan. The advantage of the scrape...

I'm sorry I got it confused somehow. But nevertheless the SM one isn't bad either. What I heard from others it starts and runs @3V. At the silendhardware.de-forum it's supposed to be one of the best 120 fans. I don't have one of them myself. But I'll get two of them pretty soon. But now back to the ...

Hi!
You might consider buying the Yate Loon fans at this german shop: www.ichbinleise.de
They cost 10€ plus 10€ shipping. Like the others mentioned the Nexus 120 is the same as the Yate Loon D12SM-12.

I don't know where you are from, when you can get a Noiseblocker Cool Scraper, it might be an alternative for the XP-120.

Well this weekend I had the time to do some further temperature testing. With a Vcore of 1,35V and 1830 Mhz the idle temperatures are: CPU: 48° and case/Northbridge: 39° and the other sensor, I don't where it is located, shows 49° With a Vcore of 1,1V and 1470Mhz the temperatures are pretty low: idl...

It's pretty easy to work with. You can cut it with sharp knife, well you have to make a cut several times but it works. From other people on the silenthardware forum I heard that you can also use a saw and it works pretty well. When you heat the material with a hair dryer you can bend it like I did....

Thank you for the welcome.

Well... I think the Heatpipes from the 2HC1 are working below 70°C. I made a HDD-Damping-box using these heatpipes and my harddrive reaches temperatures about 37-40°C. Here is a link to my project: http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=12743&highlight= The cooler on top of the box gets ...

I also build one of those Bitumenboxes and it's working great. My Samsung SP1614 is almost inaudible. Well I thought I can build another one for my Seagate Barracuda V drive but I was a little bit scared concerning my temperatures. Because the seagte drive was almost 50° hot without any cooling in t...
