Re: Integrated
Maybe you should opt for integrated graphics. Yes, that is an option I am considering. But I really want a four core i5-750 in a micro-atx configuration. I think I need a video card to do that. Well, I'll just throw this out there: the faster dual-core Clarkdales also have hyperthreading, which in ...

I set up the Zotac H55 system, and it works fine except for one rather major issue: apparently you can only run video cards through the pcie slot, so the TV tuner that I have (and that worked fine in a previous Zotac board) wouldn't show up in WIndows. A USB tv tuner works ok, but that's still a bum...

Well, actually, my point was in agreement with yours: theft and software copying are not the same. That's why stealing a car and copying software are not comparable, and losing car keys and losing software keys aren't comparable. I used the word piracy because everyone does. Copying software is akin...

If you loose your car keys (or it gets warn from age) do you have to buy a new car? My dealership provides me a new key, and charges only a few bucks for materials and labor to cut it. A simple product key costs nothing to reissue/ but it does stop M$ from making another couple of hundred bucks on ...

But if they do get erased by accident, your only real choice is to get an illegal copy. Sorry, but the moral choice is to not break the law, and to pay for a new copy. That, or to find some way of retrieving your old key or a new key legally. I think you're confusing what suits you with what's moral.

This is exactly why it is moral to pirate M$, they exist for the shareholders not the users. I'm sorry, but Microsoft shareholders beg to differ. Just because someone else makes money doesn't mean you are entitled to their products. I don't mean to come off too harshly in this forum, but a lot of t...

What are we supposed to do, write our own software if our jobs require us to use software for M$? If I use only open source I loose my job. Are you going to find me a new job that uses only open source stuff? -sign me up! Unfortunately for me, in a round about way M$ feeds my kids, and put a roof o...

Date?
The original forum post on Hexus that mentioned a refresh was from August/September 2009 (so half a year ago). Any ideas on when the updated case for the NSK 3480 is going to come out? I'm getting close to ordering my components, but it would be a shame to pull the trigger right before an update. :r...

also i can't use my Xigmatek S1283 mounting vertically so that air blows out the back of the case in the NSK3480 since the CPU socket on my board is too close to the top of the lower compartment Judging from what you know, is this a problem with most/all micro ATX boards, or just some? I was thinki...

new model
Supposedly a newer version of the 3480 is coming out. Somewhere else on these forums somebody had a link. The source was somebody within Antec marketing. I'm considering this case or its successor for the near future, it seems like a good deal.

it looks like retailers are running out of stock on this power supply... is the cp-850 being discontinued or something? newegg has been oos for awhile, and amazon stopped carrying it, after raising their price for the unit a few weeks ago. fortunately the spcr affiliates(mwave&directron) still stoc...
