Re: "ANTEC Solo" Has any one Seen this??
The NeoHE 430W is a pretty significant part of the P150... not having it included would be a pretty big omission on Antec's part.Goldmember wrote: I concur. If it is identical, why didn't they just name it the P150B and be done with it?

Trying to digest the differences between the NSK6500 and the P150 Black. The only differences I can see are the TAC vents on the side panel, the included PSU (P150 comes with a NeoHE 430W, and NSK6500 has the TP2.0 430W), and the hard drive mounting system (P150 has suspension). Am I missing anythin...

This CPU is said to overclock extremely well. I think it is essentially an underclocked FX-57...Mats wrote:The obvious alternative is Opteron 144 ($125), also 1.8 Hz but with 1 MB L2 cache.

Nice system, and inexpensive I guess. Sempron 2800+ (RevE, 256KB L2.. the higher-rated RevE 3000+ only has 128KB L2, not good) Well it depends what you are doing with it: apart from gaming X-bit labs struggled to find a benchmark where L2 made a meaningful difference. Cool & Quiet did not work... C...

My Kingwin rack does indeed have a 30mm fan, but I just unplug it. The majority of the rack & tray is constructed out of aluminium, and should be able to cool most drives passively.

Antec NeoHE "High-Efficiency"
http://www.antec.com/us/pro_p_NeoHE.html - Up to 85% claimed efficiency - Single 80mm fan exhaust, claimed 18dBA (har har... we shall see). We can safely assume large internal heatsinks - Modular like the Neopower - APFC for all models - Three +12V outputs, very lean +5V and +3.3V outputs - Typical ...
