hhmmm...do the 92mm Panaflos suffer the same "random quiet-random-loud" batches as the 80mm L1A's?

where to get these soft grommets?

This is from the coolcases.com site...and basically the same type of solution I'm looking for. Anyways, I've looked at Home Depot and local hardware stores and haven't found any grommets soft enough to mount on my case. Thanks for any help! http://www.coolcases.com/cases/sr20503_20703_m_ol_2xa.jpg h...

got it guys. I'll definitely go with with rubber grommets and nylon washers for the exhaust 120mm. Unfortunately, I'll have to use the fan cage for the 92mm fans on the drive cage and the 92mm fan at the bottom (fan placemenet is not flush on the chassis). If not, some pseudo-suspended zip-tie sytem...

Fan cage or mount on chassis?

What are your thoughts on mounting on fan cages? My Chenbro SR209 has a 120mm fan cage/bracket on back and I'm about to order some fans, Wondering if I should get some rubber grommets and washers as well to mount the fan on the chassis. I'll be using either a YL or a Sytche, so it shouldn't cause to...

Ghz:

would you say the Sythe is a better fan than the YL @ 12V?

i.e. almost as little motor noise with more CFM?

Thanks!

BTW. newegg has these in stock already.

what do you think of this fan combo?

Chenbro SR209 Rear: Arctic Fan 120mm Front drive cage: 92mm Nexus RealSilent Front bottom cage: 92mm Nexus RealSilent My concerns at this point is the bottom 92mm fan. I'm hoping this doesn't draw in too much dust, as there isn't a decent way to filter that area of the case without restricting airfl...

thanks sooty!

checking it out now.

Yeah...not a bad case for 90$ shipped from Serversdirect. 80$ at ewiz.

this case had the most potential for me, and with the least amount of bling to boot. :D

For what its worth....I just got a 1650B a couple of weeks ago....ran a 2400+ XP for a few days....then 1 day it wouldn't turn on.

the PSU died.

curiously, nothing overclocked or even remotely close to be conisdered a "power hungry" component.

the PSU....just simply died after a week!

I'm in line for a 120mm as soon as its out in the US. :D

pity you can't mount in front....otherwise, I would pick up 2 of the 92mm as well....

BTW, AC has been on a roll with their VGA coolers, Freezer Pro and now this.

the mAtx case would be great if it could take an ATX PSU....add a SLI mATX board...

...I just hope it takes a 92mm fan in the front.

that coolermaster mATX would have been a great case if not for the pseudo btx layout as exposed in the hardwarezone review.

I just built a 1650B for my in-laws, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the case. I think its as small and quiet as you'll get for a quality mid-tower. Also...I'm *almost* sure there was enough space in the front to take the fan cage off and mount a 92mm fan. :D I wouldn't mind getting t...
