New Stealth Industrial-grade Keyboard
**This forum seems to have become the default location for quiet keyboard posts, so I'm posting this one here**
Stealth announces new ruggedized industrial keyboard. While not pushing it as "quiet" the ad copy does mention " keys with silent tactile feedback" so maybe it's worth a look:

with built-in optical trackball I wonder how does that feel within my fingers but i guess i'll never know considering the price 700 bucks !
On the same register (noiseless keyboard) some time ago i wanted to buy this one It's water/dust-proof, flexible, and keys are silent since it's made with silicon and the best: 15 bucks only

holy shat
that's the best keyboard I have ever seen.
dang hommie
700 is not bad. I would consider it at $250. I have spent like 200 on keyboards in past 5-6 years, im sure this would last longer than that! I never find a decent keyboard. My original one with a bad K key, is best but It's falling apart. I have gone through 2 logitechs and now 2 saitek's. nothing really floats my boat.
laser etched red keys ftw

$700? F that... My $20 UltraX keyboard is quiet enough and has tactile feedback that I'm sure this overpriced keyboard can't touch.
I suspect the reason this keyboard costs so much is because it is intended to be used in an industrial setting where resistance to water, vapors and dirt are important. It might excel in that setting, but I'm sure it would suck to use for a desktop.
