Need some suggestions on cooling quietly

Post by slashdotcomma » Fri Aug 20, 2004 7:14 pm

Hello, I hope some has a suggestion that is cool and quiet for under $30.
I have a pretty loaded pc, 2.8CGhz, aiw-9800, 3 (cd-rw,dvd,dvd+rw) drives, 2 hitachi 72k50's in a Lian-Li 6077. The case comes w/ the default 3 fans. The problem is, that my aiw-9800 sometimes overheats, (I have sound card, ethernet card, modem, etc. taking up pci slots) so I need something to cool it. I have a open slot underneath the aiw-9800 for airflow, but I guess it's not enough. Any suggestions on a pic fan to put there that won't add any more noise in my case (my power supply is a silencer 400w and heatsink fan is a Panaflo 92M, so those aren't that loud) and keep my graphics card from overheating? Thanks for your help.

Edit: Almost forgot, I need it work as a separate solution (no installing heatpipes or removing preinstalled heatsink & fan), so I can take the pci fan out easily.
